A Norwegian cruise ship has run aground in a ford off the nation’s west coast.
Norwegian cruise ship operator Hurtigruten mentioned the incident occurred on Friday close to the mouth of the Sogne Fjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord.
It mentioned the MS Richard With was not in abnormal service and there have been no passengers on board.
Nobody was injured and the crew was not in any hazard, the operator added.
It mentioned the ship was secure and was awaiting towing help.
Hurtigruten operates cruises alongside Norway’s scenic shoreline.
